NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council will hold a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, September
25, 2018 at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277 to consider the following:

PUBLIC COMMENTS
This is the time for the public to address the City Council on issues within the jurisdiction of the City Council that
are NOT on this agenda. All comments are to be directed to the City Council and shall not consist of any personal
attacks. Members of the public are expected to maintain a professional, courteous decorum during their
comments. There is a time limitation of three minutes per person. If you haven’t already done so, please fill out
name and address slips and give them to the City Clerk. The City Council is prohibited by State law from taking
action or discussing items not included on the printed agenda. Public comments on specific agenda items will
be deferred until consideration of the item on the agenda.

CONSENT CALENDAR
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are to be considered routine by the City Council/ City Council in its
Capacity as Successor Agency to the Former Twentynine Palms Redevelopment Agency and will be enacted by
one motion in the form listed. Any item may be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately
by the City Council. The public will be given an opportunity to comment on Consent Calendar items prior to the
City Council action.

RECOMMENDATION: The City Council authorize the City Manager to quit claim the
Chemehuevi Indian Burial Grounds to the Twentynine Palms Band of Mission Indians.

RECOMMENDATION: The City Council approve the purchase of the 2018 New Holland
Boomer 45 D in the amount of $36,365.63.

10. Temporary Construction Easement
RECOMMENDATION: The City Council adopt Resolution No. 18-___ that gives the City
Manager the authority to lease property at APN #0617-113-10 (Old Tire Shop) for a
temporary construction easement to CalTrans.

RECOMMENDATION: The City Council authorize the filing of a Local Transportation Fund
(LTF) Article 8, Local Streets and Roads Claim in the amount of $480,712.

RECOMMENDATION: The City Council authorize the City Manager to negotiate and
execute an engineering contract, or addendum, with NV5 for furtherance of the site
improvements in Project Phoenix not to exceed $238,300 plus a 10% contingency.

RECOMMENDATION: The City Council review the proposed streetscape design
