Police and Fire Commission

Meeting Minutes Mach 15, 2023 Meeting called to order by Chairman George Valach at 1600 hrs. Roll call; Carl Smith, Phil Johnson, George Valach present. Joe Rhamey and Tim Infusino excused. Motion to approve minutes of October 26, 2022 meeting by Carl Smith, second by George Valach, and passed unanimously. Department updates presented by Chief Grosz. There is 1 open Full Time Position. Motion to go into closed session by Phil Johnson, second by Carl Smith, all in favor. Closed session The Chairman of the Police Commission, George Valach, announced to all present that the Police Commission intends to convene in closed session for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercise responsibility per WIS Statues 19.85 (1). Upon a motion pursuant to the statute and duly made, seconded, and acted upon in the majority vote of Commission Members, a CLOSED SESSION will take place and adjourn thereafter, without reconvening into Open Session, subject to the State Statues. Motion to go to open session by Carl Smith, second by Phil Johnson, All in favor. Motion to adjourn the meeting by Carl Smith, second by Phil Johnson at 1638 hrs.
