Numbers low but did a comparison, numbers up. More calls for
services has increased by 29%
Code Enforcement numbers are up

During off time will fall back to PD for patrol
There is a plan for tragedy
Cameras helps with staying on top of

Will have an extra officer and their primary duty will check
golf carts and crosswalks

o How much information can they bring back to Mayor and Council
Other Item:
Closing off Solomon to all traffic – keep out of residential areas
Golf carts
o Shirley – staff to meet with rental companies as well as STR
Need to involve police, fire and DPW
Barricade on North Campbell at dirt road (Solomon)
Reach out to neighbors for their input
Put up temp barricades to see how it works (temp traffic flow)
Have another meeting with Mayor and Council to find out exactly where the
barricades should go
Closing off road at Seven Flags as Arby’s have closed
Would like to see camera in the Parking Department
Next step for Jaycee Park
o 88 participants
o Going to relook at park layout
o Have another meeting
o Label maps (layout) better
o Another public meeting in April
Kathryn Williams thanked Mayor and Council for the model of the workshop. Would
like another venue. Encourage Mayor and Council to give whatever PD needs to enforce
violations.
