Workshop Notes – March 15, 2023 Shirley Sessions to order at 3:30PPM All Robertson:  Discussion points o Committees o Workshops o Events o Increase of visitors  With industry coming to area, more visitors. Is Tybee’s infrastructure ready Shawn Gillen  Budget o Salary study done and will have workshop to discuss  Jaime and Jen worked hard  Budget will focus on keeping salaries competitive  COLI for this year  Pension 10 years to 5 year  Main Street and Contract Services budget will increase  Five new police officers  Pete, Parking, raise o Jay  How many more employees needs to keep up with visitors o Shirley  Are we going to be prepared for more visitors/residents o Monty  Concerns over raises – every year  Update on LDC forthcoming  Recycling at DPW – cardboard Shirley Sessions  Want Shawn to bring operating budget with recommendations – not them giving him Nancy DeVetter  Look at employee benefits o Long terms disability o Flex to work at home o Work/life flex o Child care Shawn Gillen  No Infrastructure or Public Safety Committee in April and May Adjourn at 5:30PM
