Main Street/ Development Authority Board of Directors Meeting Minutes Date & Time: November 17, 2022 4PM Absent: Jay Burke Observers: Katherine Williams (Forever Present: Dillon Patel, Michael Flores, Sarah Tybee) Bernzott, Cate Campbell, Bill Garbett, Susan Kelleher, Spec Hosti, Kelly Swope, Location: Public Safety Conference Room Charissa Murray, Sue Jackson, Cate Campbell, Beth Martin Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 4:01PM. Approval of Minutes Minutes for the October 26, 2022 meeting passed with a motion from Cate Cambell and a second from Michael Flores. Old Business None New Business Updates Program- Holiday events are in full swing. Marine Science Center Ribbon cutting was a success. Holiday decorations are up, thank you DPW and Barrett Landscaping. Still recruiting interns, we have one lined up for the Summer. Design- Committee will work with DPW to upgrade street furniture and landscaping on Tybrisa. Contract with Arnett Muldrow has been finalized, it will be voted on at the council meeting in December. This plan will encompass Tybrisa Street, Park of 7 Flags and some overlap with the GDOT Proposal. Pressure washing will be done next week. Street lighting will be requested in next FY. Economic Vitality- No meeting. Promotion- Holiday Market/Tree Lighting- 12PM-8PM, Tybrisa Street. Shoppes at 1207 sponsored train. Cassidi has a spreadsheet with volunteer slots. Kids activities are lined up. Music/ Tree Lighting will be on the stage at the roundabout. 36 vendors are signed up. Cornhole tournament is on track to be full. Main Street is partnering with Post Theater (70/30 split) Polar Plunge. T shirt orders start soon.
