City of Tybee Island TIMSC Draft Minutes July 10, 2020 In Attendance: Matt Schivera, Matt Lieb, Monty Parks, Chad Zittrouer, Craig Clements, Shawn Gillen, Bubba Hughes, George Shaw, Maria Procopio Shawn Gillen called the meeting to order at 11:10. The minutes were approved unanimously. The group discussed what should be done with the roughly $26,000 left in the budget. Matt Schivera agreed that Maria Procopio can get more out of the money than if West was hired to do more work with it. Bubba suggested running by the Council. Shawn Gillen said it should go to the Council during the 2 nd week of August and West Construction should be at the August Council meeting. Maria agreed to get some cost estimates. Matt Schivera will issue a credit change order. There is roughly $101,000.00 left on the contract. Shawn Gillen pointed out that that number may dwindle and is an estimate. The group decided 1. The Council needs to advise the group with regards to the $26,000. 2. We need cost estimates for the remaining items. 3. Maria Procopio will speak with the Blackbeard’s Island people to see if the contract can be scaled back. 4.Determine how the remainder of the site prep will be handled. The next meeting will be on July 31st, at 11:00, and it will be a Zoom meeting. Meeting adjourned at 11:55.
