Public Comments
Mr. Bob Swenson, a resident on Castlewood Road, shared his concerns regarding the safety of
golf carts on Senoia Road past the Dogwood Trail railroad crossing. The cart path ends and does
not pick up. He asked that something be done regarding the railroad right-of-way, to continue the
cart path.
Approval of Agenda
Council Member Housley made a motion to approve the agenda.
Council Member Furr seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0.
Consent Agenda: All matters listed under this item are considered to be routine by the Town
Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these items.
If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered
separately.
Approval of minutes, June 20, 2019.
Consideration for Southside Chiropractic to use Shamrock Park for Back to School Bash, Friday,

Consideration to renew the Evoqua contract for the reduction of hydrogen sulfide in our sewerage
system. Scott Langford, Town Engineer and Public Works Director
Council Member Furr made a motion to approve the consent agenda.
Council Member Matthews seconded the agenda. Motion was approved 3-0.
New Business
1. Consideration to allow High Sierra Investments to assign/transfer its rights and duties under the
Purchase and Sale agreements for the formally purchased Grove Park properties to Tyrone 37,
LLC. Brandon Perkins, Town Manager
Mr. Perkins informed Council that during the last meeting, High Sierra Investments submitted the
lowest bid for the purchase of the Town owned properties at Grove Park, off Handley Road. Since
then, High Sierra Investments has created a new LLC, Tyrone 37, LLC. They requested a transfer
of sale to their new entity. Mayor Dial stated for clarity that this purchase did not include the seven-
acre property that was adjacent to the Grove Park properties.
Council Member Matthews made a motion to allow the transfer.
Council Member Housley seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0.
Staff Comments
Ms. Baker informed everyone that qualifying for the Tyrone election in November would begin
Monday, August 19th through Friday, August 23rd from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. She added that the
candidate packets would be available for pick-up on Monday, July 29th.
Council Comments
Mayor Dial gave recognition to Lieutenant Eric DeLoose and Officer Cody Clark for their heroism
on Saturday night for saving a gentleman’s life. He added that officers do not receive enough
recognition for their hard work. Chief Mundy added that once all information was gathered,
information would be posted on the Town’s website.

Executive Session
Council Member Furr made a motion to move into Executive Session to review the Executive
Session minutes from June 20, 2019.
Council Member Housley seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0.
Council Member Housley made a motion to reconvene.
Council Member Furr seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0.
Council Member Matthews made a motion to approve the minutes from June 20, 2019.
Council Member Housley seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0.
Adjournment
Council Member Housley made a motion to adjourn. Motion was approved 3-0.
The meeting adjourned at 7:09 pm.
