Tyrone Town Council Meeting Minutes Special Called Thursday May 26, 2017 7:00 PM Present: Mayor Eric Dial Mayor Pro Tem Furr Council Member Ken Matthews Council Member Ryan Housley Interim Town Manager/Police Chief Brandon Perkins Town Clerk Dee Baker Town Attorney Dennis Davenport Council Member Linda Howard was absent Mayor Dial called the meeting to order and gave the Invocation; it was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Public Comments Approval of Agenda Council Member Housley made a motion to approve the agenda. Council Member Furr seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. New Business: 1. Consideration of approval for the Town Manager position. Council Member Matthews made a motion to nominate Jonathan Lynn for the position of Town Manger. Council Member Housley seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. Page 1 of 2 Executive Session: Council Member Furr made a motion to move into Executive Session for one (1) item of real estate acquisition. Council Member Matthews seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. Council Member Housley made a motion to reconvene. Council Member Furr seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. Adjournment: Council Member Furr made a motion to adjourn. Motion was approved 3-0.
