Tyrone Town Council Meeting Minutes Wednesday June 28, 2017 4:00 PM Present: Mayor Eric Dial Mayor Pro Tem Gloria Furr Council Member Ken Matthews Council Member Ryan Housley Council Member Linda Howard was absent Town Manager Jonathan Lynn Finance Manager Sandy Beach Recreation Manager Mitch Bowman Town Clerk Dee Baker Mayor Dial called the meeting to order. Approval of Agenda Council Member Matthews made a motion to approve the agenda. Council Member Housley seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. PUBLIC HEARING: 1. Adoption of Budget FY2017-07 Mayor Dial opened the Public Hearing for anyone that wished to speak in favor of the item. No one spoke. Mayor Dial opened the Public Hearing for anyone that wished to speak in opposition of the item. No one spoke. Council Member Matthews made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2017-07 accepting the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Budget in the amount of $4,604,092.89. Council Member Housley seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. Page 1 of 2 OLD BUSINESS: 2. Consideration to approve the Forever Young agreement for the Founders Day festival. Mitch Bowman, Recreation Manager Council Member Housley made a motion to approve the Forever Young agreement. Council Member Furr seconded the motion. Motion was approved 3-0. Council Member Housley amended his motion to request an affidavit from Forever Young stating that they have no employees. Council Member Furr amended her second. Motion was approved 3-0.
