Vine Street Monday December 10, 2018 The City Council and the Board of Cunningham Township of the City of Urbana, Illinois, met in Special Joint Session on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL There being a quorum, Mayor and Chair Marlin called the joint meeting of the Urbana City Council and Cunningham Town Board to order at 6:00 p.m. B. PUBLIC INPUT There was no public input.  Page 2 of 2 C. Closed Session to consider litigation, when an action against, affecting or on behalf of the particular public body has been filed and is pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting, pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11). A motion to go into closed session to consider pending litigation pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11) was made by City Council Member Hazen, seconded by City Council Member Brown, and passed 6-0: Voting Aye: Brown, Hazen, Jakobsson, Miller, Roberts, Wu Opposed: none The City Council and Trustees, other elected officials, and staff moved to the 2nd floor Executive Conference Room at 6:03 pm. The City Council and mayor returned to council chambers at 7:20 pm. The body went back into open session at via motion by CM Miller, second by CM Wu and passed by unanimous voice vote. D. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the joint meeting, Mayor and Chair Marlin declared the meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m. Charles A.
