Vine Street, Urbana, IL 61801 Monday January 22, 2017 5:30pm The City Council of the City of Urbana, Illinois, met in Special Session on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building. Smyth, City Clerk ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE None ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT None STAFF PRESENT Bill Gray; Elizabeth Hannan; Sylvia Morgan; James Simon; OTHERS PRESENT A. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL There being a quorum, Mayor Marlin called the meeting of the Urbana City Council to order at 5:30 p.m. B. PUBLIC INPUT There was no public input. C. Closed Session to Discuss Collective Bargaining Issues pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)2 and Review of Closed minutes pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)21 A motion to go into Closed Session to Discuss Collective Bargaining Issues pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)2 and Review of Closed minutes pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)21 was made by City Council Member Miller and seconded by CM Roberts. The motion passed on a roll call vote (8- 0). Voting Aye: Ammons, Brown, Hazen, Jakobsson, Miller, Roberts, Wu, Marlin; Opposed: none The City Council, mayor, and selected staff moved to the 2nd floor executive conference room at 5:03 p.m. The City Council and mayor returned to council chambers at 7:06 p.m. The body went back into open session via motion by CM Brown, seconded by CM Roberts and passed by unanimous voice vote. D. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the City Council, Mayor Marlin declared the meeting adjourned at 7:07 p.m. Charles A.
