Urbana Fire Department Foreign Fire Insurance Board Meeting MINUTES 7:30 AM Tuesday May 2nd, 2017 1107 W Gregory, Urbana, IL, 61801 UFD Station 4 Training Room • CALL TO ORDER • Called to order by Buxton at 0737hrs. • MEMBERS PRESENT: Nightlinger, Jannusch, Buxton, Dilley, Smith, Thomas, Lane • MEMBERS ABSENT: • GUESTS: Mike Phillips • APPROVAL OF MINUTES • February 7th, 2017: Motion to Approve by Smith, 2nd by Dilley, Passed, 7 Yays, 0 Nays • READING OF THE TREASURER’S REPORT • Checking: $1,886.75 • Money Market: $34,933.14 • Total: $36,819.89 • PUBLIC COMMENT (5 MINUTE LIMIT EACH) • None • OLD BUSINESS • Picture Board- Greg Smith stated that the process is still progressing slowly. • NEW BUSINESS • Elections for three trustee positions- • Smith nominated Jannusch, 2nd by Dilley, Jannusch accepted • Mike Phillips nominated Thomas, 2nd by Lane, Thomas accepted • Jannusch nominated Lane, 2nd by Smith, Lane accepted • No other nominees were submitted and Jannusch, Thomas, and Lane remained trustees through the term that ends in May of 2019 • Elections for Board Positions- • Lane nominated Buxton for President, 2nd by Smith, Buxton accepted. No other trustees were nominated. Motion approved 7 Yays, 0 Nays • Jannusch nominated Thomas for Treasurer, 2nd by lane, Thomas accepted. No other trustees were nominated. Motion approved 7 Yays, 0 Nays • Lane nominated Dilley for Secretary, 2nd by Jannusch, Dilley accepted. No other trustees were nominated.
