Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING May 6, 2013 The Cunningham Township Board met in regular session Monday, May 6, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: Brandon Bowersox-Johnson; Eric Jakobsson; Robert Lewis; Diane W. Marlin; Dennis Roberts; Charlie Smyth Town Clerk: Phyllis D. Clark Supervisor: Carol Elliott Assessor: Absent ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: None OTHERS PRESENT: Fred Grosser; Members of the Media A. ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:02 p.m. Chair Prussing presented each of the retiring council members with a token of appreciation from the Public Work Department also extended her gratitude for their service. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Trustee Heather Stevenson made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting held April 1, 2013. Trustee Dennis Roberts seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS The following items were presented in omnibus fashion: 1. Town Fund 2. General Assistance Fund Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the amount of $74,017.17 and the General Assistance Fund in the amount of $73,296.63 Trustee Heather Stevenson seconded. The motion carried by voice vote. D. REPORTS OF OFFICERS 1. A Brief History of Cunningham Township Supervisor's Office 2. Analysis of General Assistance applications and case load from 2007- 2013 Carol Elliot thanked the board for being so supportive of the services that the Township provides.
