Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD Monday, July 13, 2015 The Cunningham Township Board met in Regular session Monday, July 13, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: Aaron Ammons; Eric Jakobsson; *Michael P. Madigan; Diane Marlin; Dennis Roberts; Charles Smyth Town Clerk: Phyllis Clark Supervisor: Michelle Mayol Assessor: Absent ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Trustee Bill Brown, Ward 4 Township Assessor Dan Stebbins *Trustee Madigan joined the meeting at 7:02pm OTHERS PRESENT: Fred Grosser, Members of the Media A. ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:01 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve minutes from May 04, 2015; June 01, 2015 and Special Meeting June 15, 2015. Trustee Aaron Ammons seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS The following items were presented in omnibus fashion: 1. Town Fund 2. General Assistance Fund Trustee Diane Marlin made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the amount of $65,802.06 General Assistance Fund in the amount of $23,517.26. Trustee Dennis Roberts seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. D. REPORTS OF OFFICERS Township Supervisor Michelle Mayol indicated that the annual township audit is underway and auditors should have the final result ready for presentation in September, 2015. Cunningham Township Board Meeting Minutes: Monday, July 13, 2015 Page 2 of 3 E. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS Ginger McKee from the Cunningham Children’s Home addressed the Board to give an invitation to the 120th Anniversary open house that will take place July 26th. F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS There was none. G. NEW BUSINESS a. Designation of Final Amended Budget for FY 2015-2016 Township Supervisor Michelle Mayol presented the changes as directed by the board. Discussion ensued. b. Ordinance No. T-2015-07-001: Adoption of the Combined Budget and Appropriation Ordinance (Fiscal Year 2015-2016) Trustee Smyth made a motion to approve Ordinance No. T-2015-07- 001 as presented. Trustee Ammons seconded. After debate Trustee Marlin requested a roll call for this item. Motion carried by roll call. Votes were as follows: Ammons – Aye Marlin – Nay Jakobsson – Aye Roberts - Aye Madigan – Nay Smyth – Aye Disposition: Ordinance No. T-2015-07-001 was approve by roll call vote (4-Ayes; 2-Nays) c. Ordinance No. T-2015-07-002: Transfer of Appropriation Ordinance (FY 2014-2015) Trustee Smyth made a motion to approve Ordinance No. T-2015-07- 002 as presented. Trustee Roberts seconded. No discussion. Motion carried by roll call vote. Votes were as follows: Ammons – Aye Marlin – Aye Jakobsson – Aye Roberts - Aye Madigan – Aye Smyth – Aye Disposition: Ordinance No. T-2015-07-002 was approve by roll call vote (6-Ayes; 0-Nays) d. Closed and Open Session to Consider Per Mr. Grosser there is no need to go into closed session at this time. Mr. Grosser gave a brief update regarding the Carle Appeal. H.
