Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD Monday, August 3, 2015 The Cunningham Township Board met in Regular session Monday, August 3, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: *Aaron Ammons; Bill Brown; Eric Jakobsson; Michael P. Madigan; Diane Marlin; Dennis Roberts; Charles Smyth Town Clerk: Phyllis Clark Supervisor: Michelle Mayol Assessor: Absent ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Township Assessor Dan Stebbins *Trustee Ammons joined the meeting at 7:02 p.m. OTHERS PRESENT: Fred Grosser, Rev. Dr. Evelyn B. Underwood, Members of the Media A. ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:00 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve minutes from July 13, 2015. Trustee Eric Jakobsson seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS The following items were presented in omnibus fashion: 1. Town Fund 2. General Assistance Fund Trustee Diane Marlin made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the amount of $44,437.40 General Assistance Fund in the amount of $19,982.69. Trustee Dennis Roberts seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. D. REPORTS OF OFFICERS There were none. E. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS Rev. Dr. Evelyn B. Underwood addressed Town Board Trustees with concerns regarding the process to get services from Cunningham Township Office, and an unnamed resident’s needs. Cunningham Township Board Meeting Minutes: Monday, August 3, 2015 Page 2 of 2 Trustee Dennis Roberts addressed Mrs. Underwood’s concerns, and extended an invitation to the produce from the Lierman Community Garden taking place every Tuesday at 10:30am. at the corner of Washington/Lierman. Trustee Jakobsson asked if the Assessor Dan Stebbins could prepare a County Assessment briefing update. F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS There was none. G. NEW BUSINESS d. Closed and Open Session to Consider Per Mr. Grosser there is no need to go into closed session at this time. Mr. Grosser gave a brief update regarding the Carle Appeal. H. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Cunningham Town Board, Chair Prussing declared the meeting adjourned at 7:19 p.m. Wendy M.
