Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD **SPECIAL MEETING** Monday, December 14, 2015 The Cunningham Township Board met in special session Monday, December 14, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: Aaron Ammons; Bill Brown; Eric Jakobsson; Michael P. Madigan; Diane W. Marlin; Dennis Roberts; Charlie Smyth Town Clerk: Phyllis Clark Supervisor: Michelle Mayol Assessor: Dan Stebbins ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: None OTHERS PRESENT: Fred Grosser; Members of the Media I. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:00 p.m. II. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was none. III. ORDINANCE NO. T-2015-11-003: An Ordinance levying taxes for all Town purposes for the Town of Cunningham, Champaign County, Illinois, for the tax year 2015, collectible in 2016. After discussion, Trustee Smyth made a motion for a five minute recess at 7:19 p.m. Motion seconded by Trustee Roberts and carried by voice vote. At 7:25 p.m. Trustee Smyth made a motion to resume the meeting. Motion seconded by Trustee Ammons and carried by voice vote. After further discussion, Trustee Marlin made a motion to approve Ordinance T-2015-11-003. Motion was seconded by Trustee Brown and carried by roll call vote as follows: Ammons: aye Brown: aye Madigan: no Marlin: aye Roberts: aye Smyth: aye Jakobsson: abstain IV. CLOSED SESSION Township Attorney Frederic M. Grosser stated that there is no need to go into closed session at this time because there has not yet been a ruling from the Appellate Court. H.
