Clark, Town Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD Monday, February 1, 2016 The Cunningham Township Board met in Regular session Monday, February 1, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Laurel Lunt Prussing Trustees: Aaron Ammons; Bill Brown; Eric Jakobsson; Michael P. Madigan; Diane Marlin; Dennis Roberts; Charles Smyth Town Clerk: Supervisor: Michelle Mayol Assessor: ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: Charles Smyth ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Phyllis D. Clark; Dan Stebbins OTHERS PRESENT: Frederic M. Grosser; Wendy Hundley; Members of the Media A. ROLL CALL Chair Prussing called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 7:01 p.m. B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Trustee Diane Marlin made a motion to approve minutes from January 4, 2016. Trustee Dennis Roberts seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. C. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS The following items were presented in omnibus fashion: 1. Town Fund 2. General Assistance Fund Trustee Dennis Roberts made a motion to approve the Town Fund in the amount of $52,497.92 General Assistance Fund in the amount of $16,820.93. Trustee Bill Brown seconded. Motion carried by voice vote. D. REPORTS OF OFFICERS There were none. E. PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS There was none. F. UNFINISHED BUSINESS There was none G. NEW BUSINESS Cunningham Township Board Meeting Minutes: Monday, February 1, 2016 Page 2 of 2 1. Closed and Open Session to Consider a. Township Attorney Frederic M. Grosser stated that there is no need to go into closed session at this time. Mr. Grosser stated that the Illinois Attorney General has filed a motion asking the Appellate Court to stay enforcement of its decision while the case is appealed to the Illinois Supreme Court. The Attorney General is asking the court to stay the proceeding. The Township will send a response this week. H.
