Smyth, Town Clerk SPECIAL CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING Monday October 22, 2018 The Cunningham Township Board met in Special Session at 6:45 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018 in the Council Chambers at the Urbana City Building, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Diane Wolfe Marlin Trustees: Aaron Ammons; Bill Brown; Eric Jakobsson; Jared Miller Dennis Roberts; Maryalice Wu Township Clerk: Charles A. Smyth ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: Assessor Wayne Williams ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: Trustee Dean Hazen; Danielle Chynoweth, Supervisor OTHERS PRESENT: Media Members 1. ROLL CALL Chair Marlin called the special meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 6:45 p.m. 2. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION There was none. 3. NEW BUSINESS a. Closed and Open Sessions to Consider Motion to go into closed session to consider Pending Litigation Issues, Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11) Trustee Roberts moved to go into Closed Session to consider Pending Litigation Issues, Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(11), seconded by Trustee Jakobsson. The motion passed (5- 0) by roll call vote: Brown – Aye; Jakobsson – Aye; Miller – Aye; Roberts – Aye; Wu – Aye. Trustees and selected staff moved to the 2nd floor Executive Conference room at 6:48pm. Trustee Ammons arrived at 6:48pm. The Town Board returned to open session at 6:56 p.m. following a motion to do so by Trustee Miller, seconded by Trustee Wu and passed (6-0) by roll call vote: Ammons – Aye; Brown – Aye; Jakobsson – Aye; Miller – Aye; Roberts – Aye; Wu – Aye. 4. Resolution No. T-2018-10-015R: Resolution Authorizing Request to Intervene in Formal Hearing with the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board) Trustee Wu moved approval of Resolution T-2018-10-015R, seconded by Trustee Page 1 of 2  Roberts. Motion passed (6-0) by roll call vote: Ammons – Aye; Brown – Aye; Jakobsson – Aye; Miller – Aye; Roberts – Aye; Wu – Aye. 5. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Cunningham Township Board, Chair Marlin declared the meeting adjourned at 6:59 p.m. Charles A.
