Clark, Township Clerk CUNNINGHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD Regular Meeting Minutes Monday, September 13, 2021 The Cunningham Township Board met in regular session Monday, September 13, 2021 at 6:30pm. Due to the Governor and Mayoral Emergency Declarations, this meeting was conducted by virtual attendance via Zoom. ELECTED OFFICIALS PHYSICALLY PRESENT: Chair: Diane Wolfe Marlin Township Clerk: Phyllis D. Clark ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT VIA TELECONFERENCE: Trustees: Maryalice Wu, Chris Evans, Shirese Hursey, Jaya Kolisetty, Chaundra Bishop, Grace Wilken, James Quisenberry Supervisor: Danielle Chynoweth Assessor: Wayne Williams ELECTED OFFICIALS ABSENT: none OTHERS PRESENT: Frederic Grosser, Jason Liggett, Darcy Sandefur I. ROLL CALL With a quorum virtually present, Chair Marlin called the meeting of the Cunningham Township Board to order at 6:30pm. II. ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA None. III. PUBLIC INPUT Sarah Nixon expressed concerns about client information shared in TB meetings. Andy Peacock expressed concerns about drainage issue on Broadway ave for public works. CM Quisenberry on behalf of Katie Muir asked for the supervisor to specify the specific grant used for relocation allowances. IV. COMMITTEE TO VERIFY BILLS Supervisor Chenowyth presented. The expenditures break down by fund as follows: TF: $64,153.79 GA: $120,491.56 total: $184,645.35. Supervisor reported that the township re-launched the employment and education track. MTD has resumed charging for bus passes. CM quisenberry followed up on public input question about which grant, CM Wilken asked about % of budgeted for FY being doable? Supervisor Chynoweth said sure they do it already quarterly. Motion by CM Quisenberry to approve bills, seconded by CM MW. Vote by roll call: AYE: Wu, Evans, Hursey, Kolisetty, Bishop, Wilken, Quisenberry NAY: None V. REPORTS OF OFFICERS The Supervisor provided an update on eviction prevention campaign. Supervisors memo detailed the monthly clients served statistics and additional assistance. Township has started a Tech accessibility campaign. CM Wu asked about number of RPC rental assistance cases. CM Hursey asked about additional ways to get word about eviction campaign out. VI. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. VII. NEW BUSINESS Resolution T-2021-09-010R: Resolution authorizing certain indivuals to sign checks for Cunningham Township Motion by CM Bishop to approve. Seconded by CMQuisenberry. CM Quisenberry brought up Kyle Patterson as County Board chair being a conflict of interest signing checks. Supervisor Chenowyth clarified that Patterson is already a check signer and has been. CM Wilken asked about when employees leave what the process is for checks. Motion by CM Wu to swap Liylia Garcia for Patterson as check signers. Seconded by CM Quisenberry. CM Kolisetty asked about roles and responsibility of signing. CM Bishop asked about the switch of check signers. CM Wilken asked what last sentence means.
