The Urbana Free Library Board of Trustees Minutes of a Special Meeting Held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 Present: Scott Bennett, Bill Brown, Mary Ellen Farrell, Anh Ha Ho, Mark Netter, Beth Scheid, Chris Scherer, and Jane Williams Absent: Anna Merritt Staff present: Becky Brown, Mary Towner Also present: Many people from the public The Urbana Free Library Board of Trustees met in the Lewis Auditorium of The Urbana Free Library on September 4, 2013. The special meeting was called to order by the president, Chris Scherer, at 7:00 p.m. A) Public comment: None. B) Update on Search Committee It was moved by Mark Netter, seconded by Jane Williams, and approved unanimously to table the report on the search committee. C) Closed Session At 7:05 p.m., it was moved by Mark Netter, seconded by Mary Ellen Farrell, and approved by roll call vote that the Board move into closed session for the purpose of discussing personnel matters. At 8:57 p.m., it was moved by Mark Netter, seconded by Jane Williams, and approved by roll call vote that the Board move into open session. D) Adjournment At 8:58p.m., it was move by Beth Scheid, seconded by Mark Netter, and approved unanimously that the meeting be adjourned.
