City of Utica Board of Estimate & Apportionment – Regular Meeting October 23, 2023 The meeting is called to order at 9:21 a.m. Present: Robert M. Palmieri, Mayor; Diana Koury, Deputy Comptroller; Celeste Friend, 3rd District Councilmember; Michael Galime, Common Council President; David Short, Department of Public Works Commissioner Also Present: Melissa Sciortino, City Clerk; Andrew Castilla, Deputy City Clerk; RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE INCORPORATION OF THE UPD STOP DWI FY 2024 GRANT INTO THE 2023-2024 CITY OF UTICA BUDGET. $6,220 FROM UPD STOP DWI REVENUE TO UPD STOP DWI OVERTIME. THIS AWARD WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE OVERTIME FOR SPECIAL HOLIDAY PATROLS THAT FOCUS ON DWI SELECTIVE ROAD ENFORCEMENT A motion is made by Galime The motion is seconded by Councilmember Friend Ayes: Galime, Friend, Short, Koury, Palmieri - 5 Nays: 0 All in Favor – Adopted.
