UVALDE, TX 78801 Agenda Notice is now given of the regular meeting of the Building and Standards Commission of the City of Uvalde, Texas to be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 2nd floor of the City Hall, 101 East Main Street, Uvalde, Texas for the following purpose: I. Call Meeting to Order. II. Approval of Minutes of August 13, 2025 III. Public Hearing Case File 26-01 B&S (1) Open a public hearing to discuss the dilapidated/substandard structures belonging to Maria Del Carmen Jimenez and G & D Mills LLC. The property is located at 226 Nicolas Street, NCB 128, Baylor Addition, Lot 2, Uvalde, TX. 78801, as described in Uvalde Municipal Code, Title 15, Building and Construction, Chapter 15.76, Property Maintenance Code Adopted, Chapter 3, General Requirements, and the Texas Constitution and Statues, Health and Safety Code, Chapter 342. Local Regulation of Sanitation, Uvalde Municipal Code of the City of Uvalde, Texas. The Building Official will hear updates from the owner. A. A brief report from the Building Official concerning this location. B. Citizens’ comments. C. Close public hearing. D. Reconvene meeting for discussion and decision on the application. IV.
