Main St. Uvalde, TX 78801 The Strategic Planning Commitee meeting of the City of Uvalde was called to order on Tuesday November 7, 2023, at 12:00Noon, in the City Hall, Council Chambers, with the following members present: COMISSIONERS Rosemberg Risa, III-District 1 PRESENT: Juan Gonzales-District 2 COMMISSIONERS Sergio Porras-District 3 ABSENT: Vacant-District 4 Raymond Velos-District 5 Jerrell Baker-Mayoral Appointment Mayor Don McLaughlin, Jr.-Council Liaison STAFF PRESENT: Susan Anderson-Director of Planning and Development Sorayda A. Sanchez-City Secretary 1 CALL MEETING TO ORDER 2 NEW BUSINESS 2A. Discussion on Short Term Rentals. Susan Anderson, Director of Planning and Development discussed the current Short Term Rental ordinance with board members present. The board discussed amending the following areas of the Special Use Permit section to the current ordinance, amending the name from Bed and Breakfast to Short Term Rentals, and amending the health factors, specifically the meals section.
