Monday 1:00 P.M.
The special session of the City Council, City of Vermillion, South Dakota
was held on Monday June, 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fire/EMS Station
1 training room.
1. Roll Call
Present: Hellwege, Holland, Humphrey, Jennewein (Arrived at 1:01 p.m.)
Letellier, Price, Ward
Absent: Mayor Collier-Wise
2. Adoption of Agenda
219-22
Council Member Price moved approval of the agenda. Council Member
Humphrey seconded the motion. Motion carried 7 to 0. Council President
Holland declared the motion adopted.
3. Visitors to be Heard - None
Council Member Jennewein Arrived at 1:01 p.m.
4. Strategic Planning Sessions
Mary Douglas, with MRES, facilitated a strategic planning session to
address the goals, roadblocks, and how to accomplish them. Douglas did
an exercise to get ideas of what goals the Council and Department Heads
for the city and community and how to accomplish them. Douglas wrote down
all ideas and will present the Council and Department Heads a written
document with all ideas.
5. Adjourn

Council Member Ward moved to adjourn the Council special session at 5:44
p.m. Council Member Price seconded the motion. Motion carried 7 to 0.
Council President Holland declared the motion adopted.
