CITY OF VERONA MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 23, 2015 VERONA CITY HALL 1. The meeting was called to order by William “Mac” McGilvray at 6:44 p.m. 2 Roll Call: Elizabeth Doyle, William “Mac” McGilvray. Absent (excused): Jack Linder. Also present: Jon Hochkammer, Mayor; Brad Stiner, Alderperson; Evan Touchett, Alderperson; Dale Yurs, Alderperson; Bill Burns, City Administrator. 3. Approval of the 11/9/2015 Finance Committee Minutes: Motion by Doyle, seconded by McGilvray, to approve the 11/9/2015 Finance Committee minutes. Motion carried 2-0. 4. Payment of Bills: Motion by Doyle, seconded by McGilvray, to approve the payment of bills in the amount of $413,282.27. Motion carried 2-0. 5. Resolution R-15-055 Approving the 2015 City of Verona Budget: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to recommend that the Council approve Resolution R-15-055 approving the 2016 inclusive of the staff amendment discussed at the Committee of the Whole on November 16, 2015 and the Fitch-Rona EMS Operating and Capital Budget and increase in the loaded mileage rate. Motion carried 2-0. 6. Resolution R-15-056 Approving the Levy of Property Taxes for City Purposes: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle, to recommend that the Council approve Resolution R-15- 056 approving the levy of property taxes for City purposes in the amount of $10,713,828. Motion carried 2-0. 7. Adjournment: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle, to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting at 6:55 p.m. Motion carried 2-0.
