CITY OF VERONA MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE JULY 25, 2016 VERONA CITY HALL 1. The meeting was called to order by William “Mac” McGilvray at 6:30 p.m. 2 Roll Call: William “Mac” McGilvray, Jack Linder. Absent (excused): Elizabeth Doyle. Also present: Jon Hochkammer, Mayor; Scott Stewart, Alderperson; Brad Stiner, Alderperson; Evan Touchett, Alderperson; Theran Jacobson, PW Director; Adam Sayre, City Planner; Dave Walker, Parks Director; Bernie Coughlin, Police Chief and Cindy Engelke, Finance Director. 3. Approval of the 6/13/2016 Finance Committee Minutes: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the 6/13/2016 Finance Committee minutes. Motion carried 2-0. 4. Payment of Bills: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the payment of bills in the amount of $869,292.33 Motion carried 2-0. 5. Discussion and Possible Action re: Feasibility and Participation in Recreation/Aquatic Facility Study Agreement with the Verona Area School District: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder to recommend participation in the Recreation/Aquatic Facility Study Agreement with the Verona Area School District. Motion carried 2-0. 6. Discussion and Possible Action re: Senior Center HVAC System: H&H was contacted to recommend what it will entail to address issues with the Senior Center HVAC System. It was reported that the cost could be as much as $100,000 this year. Options are being considered. No action was taken. 7.
