City of Verona Finance Committee City Hall – 111 Lincoln Street Verona, WI 53593-1520 MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE August 14, 2017 The meeting was called to order by Alder Jack Linder at 6:03 p.m. in Conference Room D110. Roll Call: Alder William “Mac” McGilvray, Alder Jack Linder, and Alder Elizabeth Doyle were present. Also present: City Administrator Jeff Mikorski, Finance Director Brian Lamers, and Senior Center Director Mary Hanson. Discussion and Possible Action regarding approval of July 24, 2017 Finance Committee minutes: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Linder, to approve the 07/24/2017 Finance Committee minutes with no amendments. Motion carried 3-0. Discussion and Possible Action regarding the payment of bills: Motion by Linder, seconded by Doyle, to approve the payment of bills totaling $1,406,423.83. Motion carried 3-0. Discussion and Possible Action re: 2018 Capital Plan and 5-year CIP Senior Center Department Presentation. Senior Center Director Mary Hanson presented the 2018 Senior Center Capital Plan and five- year Capital Improvement Plan as a part of the 2018 Budget process. No action taken. Adjournment: Motion by McGilvray, seconded by Doyle, to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Motion carried 3-0.
