Discussion and Possible Action regarding Replacement Pickup Truck for Water and Sewer:
Aulik explained that a Public Works Truck was stolen and the insurance company totaled it. The
City received a check from the insurance company for $29,000. The Public Works Department
relies on the truck for the Utilities. Aulik went over the different available trucks and stated that
the trucks from Ewald would not be available right away and the Chevy 1500 LT 2.7 he stated
probably would not be a heavy duty enough for the usage. After further discussion the decision
was to purchase the standard Ford F-150 XLT Hybrid.
Discussion and Possible Action regarding 2026 Budget Updates: Lamers stated that we got
notification regarding the Health Insurance increase of a little over 11%, which does not mean
that is the increase the City will have, since it all depends on the individual health insurance
plans. Lamers stated the departments are starting to get their personnel request in and work on
the capital plans.
