PERSONNEL COMMITTEE
FEBRUARY 23, 2015
VERONA CITY HALL
1. The meeting was called to order by Elizabeth Doyle at 5:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call: Elizabeth Doyle, Heather Reekie, Dale Yurs. Also present: Jon Hochkammer,
Mayor; Bill Burns, City Administrator; Joe Giver, Fire Chief
3. Approval of the Minutes of the February 9, 2015 Personnel Committee Minutes: Motion by
Reekie, seconded by Doyle, to approve the minutes of the February 9, 2015 Personnel
Committee meeting. Motion carried 3-0.
4. Resolution R-15-008 Approving a Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the City of
Verona and the International Association of Fire Firefighters Local 311 for 2015 and 2016
The Personnel Committee reviewed the terms of a Tentative Agreement for IAFF Local 311.
Motion by Doyle, seconded by Yurs, to recommend that the Common Council approve
Resolution R-15-008 Approving a Collective Bargaining Agreement Between the City of
Verona and the International Association of Firefighters Local 311 for 2015 and 2016.
Motion carried 3-0.
5. Adjournment: Motion by Yurs, seconded by Doyle, to adjourn the meeting at 6:15 p.m.
Motion carried 3-0.

Verona and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 311 for 2015 and 2016.
The Personnel Committee may convene in closed session as authorized by Section
19.85(1)(e) of the Wisconsin Statutes for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the
purchase of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified
public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.
