CITY OF VERONA POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION THURSDAY, JANUARY 9, 2020, AT 6:00 P.M. VERONA FIRE DEPARTMENT 101 LINCOLN STREET MINUTES (Approved) 1. Call to Order by Delora Newton at 6:04 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Commission: Louis Eifert, Delora Newton, Mylinda Heil, and Cole Leystra. Also Present: Human Resources Coordinator, Mitch Weckerly, and Oregon Fire Chief, Glenn Linzmeier. 3. Approval of Minutes: Motion by Heil, seconded by Eifert, to approve the minutes of the December 4, 2019 meeting of the Verona Police and Fire Commission. Motion Carried: 4-0. 4. Moved by Newton, seconded by Leystra, to convene into CLOSED SESSION at 6:06 p.m., pursuant to WI State Statute 19.85 (1)(c) and (e), for the purpose of interviewing the candidates for Fire Chief. Motion Carried: 4-0. 5. Moved by Newton, seconded by Louis, to return to OPEN SESSION at 9:49 p.m. for discussion and possible action regarding the closed session. Motion Carried: 4-0. 6. Adjournment: MOVED by Leystra, seconded by Eifert to adjourn at 9:50 p.m. Motion Carried: 4-0.
