CITY OF VERONA PUBLIC SAFETY AND WELFARE COMMITTEE OCTOBER 8, 2012 VERONA CITY HALL MINUTES 1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Scott Manley at 5:33 p.m. 2. Roll Call: Members Present: Jeremy Charles, Scott Manley, and Evan Touchett. Others Present: Bernie Coughlin, Police Chief; and Kami Lynch, City Clerk. 3. Approval of Minutes. Motion by Charles, seconded by Manley to approve the minutes of the September 10, 2012 meeting. Motion carried 3/0. 4. Discussion and possible action regarding an application for a Parade/Run/Walk permit for a ‘Mud Run’ on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from Ryan Griessmeyer of Race Day Events, LLC. Motion by Charles, seconded by Touchett to approve the ‘Mud Run’ on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Motion carried 3/0. 5. Discussion and possible action regarding an application for a Temporary Class B Fermented Malt Beverage license for a ‘Mud Run’ on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from Mike O’Brien of Ice Inc. Motion by Charles, seconded by Touchett to recommend approval of the Temporary Class B license for a ‘Mud Run’ to the Common Council. Motion carried 3/0. 6. Adjournment.
