‭The‬‭departments‬‭are‬‭getting‬‭ready‬‭for‬‭the‬‭new‬‭fiscal‬‭year‬‭as‬‭well‬ ‭●‬ ‭We've‬‭been‬‭doing‬‭interviews‬‭for‬‭filling‬‭holes‬‭in‬‭staffing‬‭at‬‭Public‬‭Works,‬‭the‬ ‭Recreation‬‭Department‬‭and‬‭the‬‭Police‬‭Department.‬‭Going‬‭well‬ ‭●‬ ‭Had‬‭to‬‭do‬‭some‬‭emergency‬‭repairs‬‭at‬‭the‬‭sewer‬‭plant‬‭from‬‭a‬‭power‬‭outage‬‭from‬‭a‬ ‭raccoon‬ ‭●‬ ‭Dealt‬‭with‬‭a‬‭little‬‭bit‬‭of‬‭flooding‬‭here‬‭and‬‭there‬‭from‬‭the‬‭rains.‬‭Hopefully,‬‭it‬‭goes‬ ‭down‬‭enough‬‭that‬‭we‬‭can‬‭work‬‭on‬‭catching‬‭up‬‭from‬‭all‬‭that‬‭dirt‬‭and‬‭mud‬ ‭●‬ ‭Had‬‭a‬‭comp‬‭plan‬‭committee‬‭meeting,‬‭went‬‭over‬‭and‬‭reviewed‬‭and‬‭finalize‬‭some‬ ‭updates‬‭for‬‭that‬‭as‬‭well‬‭as‬‭finalizing‬‭the‬‭report‬‭with‬‭assistance‬‭from‬‭Lanc‬‭&‬‭Tully.‬ ‭Get‬‭that‬‭over‬‭to‬‭the‬‭committee‬‭and‬‭then‬‭to‬‭the‬‭board‬‭for‬‭review‬‭and‬‭a‬‭public‬‭hearing‬ ‭●‬ ‭Got‬‭a‬‭memo‬‭form‬‭civil‬‭service‬‭to‬‭let‬‭us‬‭know‬‭that‬‭we‬‭cannot‬‭take‬‭transfers‬‭from‬ ‭NYPD‬‭anymore.‬‭It's‬‭a‬‭little‬‭bit‬‭of‬‭a‬‭thorn‬‭because‬‭we‬‭had‬‭been‬‭doing‬‭pretty‬‭well‬‭with‬ ‭transfers‬‭for‬‭filling‬‭in‬‭for‬‭Police‬‭Department,‬‭now‬‭we‬‭have‬‭to‬‭find‬‭another‬‭route‬ ‭●‬ ‭RBT‬‭has‬‭been‬‭helping‬‭with‬‭different‬‭things‬‭in‬‭the‬‭office,‬‭especially‬‭finance‬‭with‬‭the‬ ‭audit‬‭and‬‭AFR.‬ ‭●‬ ‭Met‬‭with‬‭and‬‭spoke‬‭with‬‭different‬‭Board‬‭Members‬‭on‬‭a‬‭couple‬‭items,‬‭especially‬‭the‬ ‭mayor.‬‭Try‬‭to‬‭communicate‬‭at‬‭least‬‭once‬‭a‬‭day‬ ‭●‬ ‭Rec‬‭Department,‬‭the‬‭tennis‬‭program‬‭going‬‭well.‬‭Summer‬‭camp‬‭is‬‭coming‬‭up.‬ ‭There's‬‭only‬‭39‬‭spots‬‭left‬‭as‬‭of‬‭this‬‭week.‬‭Flag‬‭football‬‭also‬‭going‬‭well.‬‭Indoor‬ ‭pickleball‬‭and‬‭is‬‭going‬‭well.‬‭They’re‬‭mowing‬‭and‬‭keeping‬‭up‬‭with‬‭code‬‭enforcement‬ ‭requests‬‭as‬‭well‬ ‭●‬ ‭the‬ ‭residents‬ ‭and‬ ‭regardless‬ ‭of‬ ‭the‬ ‭issue‬ ‭or‬ ‭the‬ ‭concern‬ ‭at‬ ‭that‬ ‭particular‬ ‭moment‬ ‭in‬ ‭time,‬ ‭it's‬ ‭the‬ ‭most‬ ‭important‬ ‭thing‬ ‭in‬ ‭the‬ ‭world‬ ‭to‬ ‭that‬ ‭individual‬ ‭and‬ ‭it‬‭is‬‭incumbent‬ ‭upon‬ ‭us‬‭to‬‭look‬‭at‬‭it‬‭and‬‭if‬‭we‬‭don't‬‭have‬‭an‬‭answer,‬‭it's‬‭incumbent‬‭upon‬‭us‬‭to‬‭let‬‭them‬‭know‬‭that‬ ‭we‬‭will‬‭check‬‭into‬‭it‬‭and‬‭move‬‭it‬‭along.‬‭I‬‭think‬‭there's‬‭a‬‭distinct‬‭difference‬‭between‬‭committing‬‭an‬ ‭ethical‬ ‭violation,‬ ‭if‬ ‭you‬ ‭will‬ ‭and‬ ‭having‬ ‭a‬ ‭complaint‬ ‭department‬ ‭and‬ ‭if‬ ‭there's‬ ‭an‬ ‭uncomfortable‬ ‭level‬ ‭out‬ ‭there,‬ ‭that's‬ ‭a‬ ‭failure‬ ‭on‬ ‭our‬ ‭part.‬ ‭I‬ ‭consider‬ ‭it‬ ‭a‬ ‭failure‬ ‭on‬ ‭my‬ ‭part‬ ‭if‬ ‭somebody‬ ‭can’t‬
