Meyer Enterprises, LLC, for 2025 Road Resurfacing Program, ADA Curb Ramp Upgrades in the amount of $33,363.48; and, WHEREAS, the Contractor submitted Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $32,324.91, which decreases the contract amount to $1,038.57 due to final quantity adjustments; and, WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has recommended Change Order No.1-Final in the amount of $1,038.57 and Current Estimate No. 1-Final in the amount of $32,324.91 to D.S. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Waldwick hereby confirms endorsement of the aforesaid project; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution shall be sent to the Bergen County Division of Community Development (Robert G. Giordano, Mayor I hereby certify that the above Resolution was adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Waldwick at its Regular Meeting of November 13, 2025. _________________________________ Kelley Halewicz, RMC/CMC Municipal Clerk Council Member Motion Second Ayes Nays Abstain Absent Brennecke Cericola-Drake Martinello Ramundo Ritchie Weber Mayor Giordano Reso book, Adm, CFO, CDBG, Bruno Associates  MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF WALDWICK Bergen County, New Jersey RESOLUTION NO. 2025-310 Authorizing Payment to Ennis for Reimbursement of HSA Contribution due to Health Care Plan Switch WHEREAS, in 2025, the Borough encouraged employees to enroll in the Hi/Low Deductible health insurance plan in order to achieve savings to the Borough, and, WHEREAS, the Borough’s Risk Manager made a presentation regarding the plans and the benefits of the plan and an employee HSA account; and, WHEREAS, Colleen Ennis opted to make the switch from her existing plan to the Hi/Low Deductible plan based upon the benefits offered, the HSA account and the savings to the Borough; and, WHEREAS, after making the switch, she was advised that she was not eligible to enroll in the HSA plan because of being Medicare eligible, which was not disclosed prior to her making the switch and which was part of the reason for the switch; and, WHEREAS, the Borough is still realizing savings due to her switch to the Hi/Low Deductible Plan and the Borough is not making any HSA payments into an account for her benefit; and, WHEREAS, because this was not disclosed, she is requesting that the amount the Borough would have made into her HSA account, namely $2,314.00 be reimbursed to her, and she understands that said amount would be a taxable event to her. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Waldwick, that the Governing Body hereby agrees, due to the circumstances, to reimburse Mrs. Colleen Ennis, the amount of $2,314.00 which represents the amount the Borough would have contributed to an HSA account for her benefit, if she was able to enroll in a HSA plan as part of her switch to the Hi/Low Deductible health plan of the Borough. The leash must be no longer than six (6) feet in length and must be held onto by the person, so that the dog is prohibited from freely running or roaming throughout the park. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as required by law. {00089705.DOC}  MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF WALDWICK Bergen County, New Jersey RESOLUTION NO. 2025-313 Authorize Closed Session WHEREAS, Section 8 of the Open Public Meetings Act (N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b)(1-9) permits the exclusion of the public from a meeting in certain circumstances; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council is of the opinion that such circumstances exist.
