WALDWICK ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FORMAL SESSION June 25, 2025 The Formal Session of the Waldwick Zoning Board of Adjustment was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. and was called to order by Marty Nieman, Chairman, who made the announcement of adequate notice of all meetings. ROLL CALL: Mr. Nieman present Mr. Cericola present Mr. Walsh present Ms. Luppino absent Mr. Wekarski present Mr. Centineo present Mr. Sanzo present Mr. Mitchell present Mr. Myerjack present Also Present: Cliff Singer, Board Attorney Joyce Sinclair, Board Secretary GREETINGS TO THE PUBLIC: No one appeared. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made by Mr. Myerjack and seconded by Mr. Walsh for the approval of the Minutes of May 28, 2025. The Minutes were approved as submitted. RESOLUTIONS: PERROW 5 Emmet Place 25-K Block 44, Lot 23 Build front of the house Roof Overhang RESOLUTION A motion for approval of the Resolution was made by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Mr. Sanzo. A unanimous vote was taken. The Resolution was approved. APPLICATIONS: PIC 142 W. Prospect Street 25-L Block 138, Lot 1 2nd Story Addition over existing footprint NEW APPLICATION 1  DECHERT 18 Waldwick Avenue 25-M Block 76, Lot 15 James R. Stevens, Esq. Replace & enlarge existing deck Above ground pool NEW APPLICATION Due to inadequate notices, the above Applications have been postponed to the July 23 meeting. NEW BUSINESS: Extension Request, Ene-Birleanu, 78 Dora Ave. Resolution dated August 28, 2024 Mrs. Ene-Birleanu appeared before the Board. Construction of their proposal has been delayed due to financial reasons. The Applicant is requesting a one year extension to their Resolution due to expire on August 28, 2025. A motion to approve this extension was made by Mr. Walsh and seconded by Mr. Myerjack. A unanimous vote was taken. The extension has been granted for one year. A letter will be sent to the Applicant indicating the extended date to August 28, 2026.
