November 1, 2021 1. Motion to approve - Carla Hendon 2. Seconded - Jena Wilmers Volunteer Opportunities with Revive and Thrive Discussed Carla's idea from a few months back regarding a creative way to get kids to share what they built over the Christmas break. Parents can post their child's creation. Kids can receive small prizes for sharing their projects on social media. Also discussed ideas for a mid-winter City event. Some ideas included holding a family-friendly Winter Olympics to coincide with the 2022 Winter Olympics. The idea is to create snow-themed games for kids and adults. Looking at possibly holding in the first half of February. More discussions needed. Brainstormed ideas for a women's event to coincide with Women's History Month in March. More discussions needed. Discussed bringing back Snap a Selfie with your Sweetheart for Valentines Day. Selfie booths were located outside Walker Ice and Fitness and Fire Station 2 in Standale in 2021.
