Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes
a.) Did not have enough members present to vote or make motions.
1. Overview of Walker boundaries and school districts included within City limits.
a.) Comstock Park, Grandville, Kenowa Hills
2. Light discussion on what members would like to see focused on throughout
the year.
a.) Leigh Ann would like a focus on mental health and more inclusion for
single/non-child persons.
b.) National Night Out discussed

· Engaged communities discussed including Imperial Forest, Lincoln Lawns,
Cambridge Grove.
3. Discussion regarding future direction of CEC.
a.) Stephanie outlined the Engagement Plan
· Discussion regarding which sector members would be most satisfied focusing
on;
· How to reach tangible results via surveys;
· Plan to highlight community events as opposed to creating additional events;
· Welcoming new families/individuals/businesses;
b.) Request for each member to complete their individual strategic plan.
· Follow for completion by 11/10/22.
4. Other discussions of note
a.) Nick will be liaison to Chamber of Commerce.
b.) Women’s month is March: Elaina suggested business license check women
owned business.
c.) Diversity within the community, potential to focus on different heritages.
d.) 7-8 new businesses move into the City each year.
