Overview of Library Financing Adjournment Page 1 of 3  FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES COMMISSION CONFERENCE ROOM MONDAY, MAY 13, 2024 5:00 PM Call Meeting to Order - Record Attendance Committee members: Mayor Carey (Chair), Steven Gilbert, Roxanne Deschaine and Alternate is Melanie Grooters City Staff: Darrel Schmalzel and Frank Wash Discussion Items Approval of March 22, 2024 Finance Committee Minutes Motion by Steven Gilbert, seconded by Roxanne Deschaine to approve the meeting minutes for March 22, 2024. Motion Carried. Budget Amendments for Fiscal Year 2023/2024 City Treasurer, Dan DeVries, reviewed the proposed 2023/2024 fiscal year budget amendments with the Committee. He went on to summarize the changes and answered committee questions. Motion by Roxanne Deschaine, seconded by Steven Gilbert to approve forwarding the proposed FY 2023/2024 budget amendments to the City Commission for approval.. Motion Carried. Review of Draft 2 of Proposed Fiscal Year 2024/2025 Budget Treasurer, Dan DeVries, reviewed the proposed FY 2024/2025 budget. D. DeVries explained the differences between draft one and draft two of the proposed budget. Discussion was held regarding combining the line items for department director and other staff pay per department with the exception of commission appointed employees. Other discussion was held. Motion by Steven Gilbert, seconded by Roxanne Deschaine to approve forwarding the proposed FY 2024/2025 budget to the City Commission for final approval. . Motion Carried.
