Fruit Ridge Bridge: The Engineering Department will provide an update on the construction schedule and detour routes for the upcoming MDOT project to replace the Fruit Ridge bridge over I-96. 2. Elmridge at 3 Mile Right Turn Lane: The Engineering Department will provide an overview of a proposed project to add a right turn lane for northbound Elmridge at 3 Mile. 3. Burton at Kenowa Stop Sign: Lori Geurink, 4732 Burton, has requested that the existing yield sign for westbound Burton at Kenowa be replaced with a stop sign. Ms. Geurink has observed westbound Burton vehicles not yielding, resulting in near misses with Kenowa traffic, which has no stop or yield signs. 4. Informational Items: Walker - Northridge to 4 Mile Truck Route: A traffic control order is being planned to add Walker from Northridge to 4 Mile to the City’s truck route system. This stretch of road is currently classified as a major street, which trucks are to utilize between the truck route system and their local destination. With the recent widening and reconstruction to a more robust cross-section, the surrounding industrial businesses, and connection to 4 Mile, it appears to be time to reclassify this stretch of road to part of the City’s truck route system. 5.
