Licenses & Franchises Committee Meeting Minutes March 17, 2025 The Clerk called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Katz, Hanley, Logan and Vidal. Absent: Dunn. Councillor Katz moved approval of the minutes from 3/3/2025. The motion was approved by a voice vote. First agenda item: Secondhand Dealers License renewal at 1250 Main Street for Clean Out Your House, Inc. Councillor Katz spoke on the renewal. Councillor Katz moved approval of the renewal. The motion was approved by a voice vote and matter was approved. Second agenda item: Secondhand Dealers License renewal at 108 River St for Mint Condition Sports, LLC Councillor Hanley moved approval of the renewal. The motion was approved by a voice vote and matter was approved. Third agenda item: Massport License Letter application Councillor Logan moved to suspend the rules to hear from all off committee members. The motion was approved by a voice vote. Councillor Logan spoke on the matter. He asked if the petitioner had a letterform the property owner stating he could park his vehicle on the property. Mr. Yildiz spoke and did not have one but could get one tomorrow. Councillor Logan moved approval of the Massport letter with the condition Mr. Yildiz submit a letter from the owner with parking permission by Thursday March 20, 2025 at noon. On the motion Councillor Hanley asked if this was a brand new business venture. Yes, he and his business partner just started this business. They are hoping to have more cars soon. The motion was approved by a voice vote and matter was approved. Councillor Logan moved to take the 77 Prospect St matter off of the table. Councillor Logan asked about the owner attending a meeting. He will be at the April 7, 2025 Committee meeting. Councillor Logan moved to table the matter. The motion was approved by a voice vote and matter was tabled.
