Welcome to the annual reorganization and second monthly meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees today Wednesday, September 30th, 2020, 5 P.M. and the agenda is as follows: Pledge of Allegiance. Approval RFQ retaining wall West Main. Approval paving contract boathouse. Approval Applicant and Owner, Gas Land Holdings Corp is seeking site plan approval for a modification to landscaping at the gasoline fueling facility located at 1663 Route 9. Approval to hire P/T Deputy Building Inspector. Accept resignation of PO Alyssa Cox effective 09/30/20. ______________________________________________________________________ RESOLUTION NO. 362020 of 2020 RESOLUTION INTRODUCING “LOCAL LAW NO. ____ OF THE YEAR 2020, AMENDING CHAPTER 143. VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. ARTICLE V. SCHEDULES. § 143-56. SCHEDULE XVIII: TIME LIMIT PARKING OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS” The following resolution was introduced by________________________ and seconded by ________________________. Page 1 of 6 WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees desires to limit the hours of parking at the Franny Reese Park, including no parking on specified days and times in order to allow for parking lot maintenance; and WHEREAS, the Village Board hereby determines that it is in the interest of public safety and government efficiency that time limit parking be placed at the Franny Reese Park; and WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that pursuant to 6 NYCRR 617.5 (c) (20) the proposed adoption of the aforementioned Local Law is a Type II action not requiring environmental review pursuant to State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) and, accordingly, no environmental review has been undertaken; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board of Trustees hereby introduces for consideration of its adoption proposed “Local Law No. ____ of the Year 2020, Amending Chapter 143. Vehicles and Traffic. Article V. Schedules. § 143-56. Schedule XVIII: Time Limit Parking of the Code of the Village of Wappingers Falls”, in the form annexed hereto; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Board of Trustees hereby schedules a Public Hearing regarding the proposed adoption of the annexed Local Law for 7:00 P.M., on the ____ day of October, 2020, to be held at Village Hall, 2582 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, New York, and the Village Clerk is directed to post the Notice of Public Hearing in the form annexed hereto and to publish same in the newspaper as required by law.
