WARRENSBURG TREE BOARD BOARD MINUTES August 30, 2018 The Warrensburg Tree Board met in regular session on August 30, 2018 at the Warrensburg Community Center, 445 E. Gay St. The meeting was called to order by Suzy Latare at 4:10 pm. Members in attendance: Suzy Latare, Leslie Bayless and Jay Raveill. Others in attendance: Jason McCarty and Chuck Conner.  Agenda: Leslie Bayless moved to approve the agenda as written. Jay Raveill seconded. Approved 3-0.  Minutes: Jay Raveill moved to approve the June 14, 2018, minutes. Leslie Bayless seconded. Approved 3-0.  Discussion Items  Welcome to new member – Ray Crisp Mr. Crisp was appointed to the Tree Board on August 27th. General discussion. Leslie Bayless will update the contact information sheet.  Education/Outreach efforts o Summer Events Suzy Latare reminded us that Get the Red Out is coming up on September 6th and she has reserved our table and chairs. Jay Raviell advised that he is no longer available to work the table. General discussion. Jay Raviell moved that we cancel our participation in Get the Red Out this year. Leslie Bayless seconded. Approved 3-0. o Seminar General discussion about past projects and possible new ones. o ReLeaf of Missouri General discussion about participating in this program again.  Other Business  Tree Board Budget for FY19 Suzy Latare reported that we had previously approved our budget request and were waiting for Council approval. Jason McCarty brought up a new computer program called TreeKeeper 8 that was available and allowed modification from the field. General discussion. Jay Raviell moved that we amend our budget request to include the $2500 cost for the one-year program. Leslie Bayless seconded. Approved 3-0. Jason McCarty will take care of amending the paperwork.  Board Members Suzy Latare advised that we are still short one member so everyone needs to continue thinking about this.
