Holden, Warrensburg Wednesday, November 6, 2019 | 3:30 p.m. A meeting of the Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau was held on Wednesday, November 6, at 3:40 p.m. at the Warrensburg Municipal Center Council Chambers, 200 S. Holden, Warrensburg, Missouri, with President Tom Koenigsfeld presiding. Roll was called as follows: Present: Tom Koenigsfled, Ginny McTighe, Diane Whitworth and Mason Wirsig (via FaceBook Messenger); Exofficio members Danielle Fesler and Bryan Jacobs; Absent: Chelsea Cantrell, Joe Eccleton, and Scott Thomason. Exofficio member Harold Stewart. The adoption of the agenda was considered. McTighe made a motion to adopt the agenda. The motion was second by Whitworth. Motion passed. Minutes of the October 2, 2019 WCVB meeting will be presented for approval at the December 4, 2019 WCVB board meeting, due to a lack of voting quorum. Financial report provided by the WCVB director. The WCVB board members completed the tourism inventory separately. The results from each sheet will be compiled to form a master inventory for Warrensburg/Johnson County. WCVB staff also completed the form. Staff will work to have a master inventory report to present to the board at the December board meeting. The WCVB director’s report was provided. Items noted were upcoming office closures due to holidays, important dates for the WCVB grant program, and upcoming events in 2020: Missouri Gymnastics Championship March 27-29 and a cycling event in fall 2020. No further business was presented. McTighe made a motion the board adjourn. The motion was seconded by Koenigsfeld. Motion passed.
