Warrensburg Convention & Visitors Bureau Visitor Center Committee Meeting Minutes 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 Via Zoom A meeting of the Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitor Center Committee was held at via Zoom on Wednesday, May 4 2022, at 9:06 a.m. Roll was called as follows: Present: Tom Koenigsfeld, Dana Phelps, and Diane Whitworth; exofficio member Danielle Dulin Absent: exofficio member Jim Kushner The adoption of the agenda was considered. Whitworth made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Phelps. Motion passed. Minutes from the Wednesday, April 6, 2022, committee meeting was presented for approval. Whitworth made a motion the minutes be approved as presented. The motion was seconded by Phelps. Motion passed. The 407A East Russell Ave; St. 2 property was discussed. The lease expires Monday, May 30, 2022. The director will submit the keys to the landlord on Friday, May 27. There are a few items left to be picked up. RISE Cleaning Services will come Monday, May 23 and do a deep cleaning of the property prior to handing in the keys. The 200 S Holden property was discussed. The Center has completely moved in with a few boxes to empty. The moving expense with Holiday Moving came in less than quoted. Having the items organized by location was a timesaver resulting in reducing the time estimated by Holiday. There will be an open house event on Wednesday, May 25 at the Center inviting community members back into the Center. The 205 N Holden property was discussed. The office and apartment are vacant. Discussed security deposit for First Command (Office) and the awning. A draft of the design was presented for review to the committee. The draft will be presented to the board at the next WCVB meeting. The director provided an update on Goal 1 (Visitor Center) on the WCVB strategic plan. The June meeting will be rescheduled due to the director being out of the office. An availability survey will be distributed. Meeting was adjourned.
