Warrensburg Convention & Visitors Bureau Visitor Center Committee Meeting Minutes 9 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2023 Via Zoom A meeting of the Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitor Center Committee was held via Zoom on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 9:04 a.m. Roll was called as follows: Present: Dana Phelps; exofficio members Danielle Dulin and Jim Kushner (joined 9:10 a.m.) Absent: Tom Koenigsfeld and Diane Whitworth The adoption of the agenda was considered. Phelps made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Dulin. Motion passed. WCVB Director noted January Committee Meeting Minutes would be provided at the March Committee Meeting. An update on the Visitor Center at 200 S Holden Street was provided. WCVB Director provided an update on the property at 205 N Holden Street. There has not been an update on the Local Tourism Asset Development Grant. The director will ask the Board to approve the WCVB to present a request to the City of Warrensburg’s Council for the approval the $70,000 of ARPA funds the City received and earmarked for area tourism be utilized for the renovation of 205 N Holden Street. Discussed change order received regarding the moisture issue in the crawl space of the property. Enneking Construction has presented a proposal for $35,964 for a vapor barrier, sump pump, dehumidifier and framing and support of subfloor. The change order will be presented to the entire board for approval at the February meeting. The director provided an update on Goal 1 (Visitor Center) on the WCVB strategic plan. Next meeting will be held 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 via Zoom. Meeting adjourned at 9:20 a.m.
