A meeting of the Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau was held by Zoom on Thursday, May 9,
2024, at 10:01 a.m. with President Tom Koeingsfeld presiding.
Roll was called as follows:
Present: JonAllen Cocumelli, Tom Koenigsfeld, Ginny McTighe, Diane Thompson and Diane Whitworth
Absent: Kelly Brooks and Dana Phelps; exofficio member Chris Deal, Jim Kushner and Danielle Dulin
The adoption of the agenda was considered. Whitworth made a motion to adopt the agenda as
presented. The motion was seconded by McTighe. Motion passed.
Minutes of the April 11, 2024, WCVB Board meeting were considered. McTighe made a motion to
approve the meeting minutes as presented. The motion was seconded by Brooks. Motion passed.
Minutes of the May 1, 2024, WCVB Board meeting were considered. Whitworth made a motion to
approve the meeting minutes as presented. The motion was seconded by McTighe. Motion passed.
Financial report* was provided by the WCVB Director.
FY 2023-2024
As of May 3, 2024, $452,605 revenue has been collected.
As of May 3, 2024, $211,253 expenses have been incurred.
Journal Entries for April tax collections and grant reimbursement have not been posted.
Journal Entries for April personnel expenses have not been posted.

The WCVB Director provided an update on the WCVB’s Strategic Plan. The plan will be updated by the
Board on June 13 with the assistance of consultants Tracy Kimberlin and Kathleen O’Dell. Everyone
was encouraged to complete the survey emailed by May 17, 2024.
The WCVB Director presented a proposal from McDaniels Marketing for video/film procurement. The
proposal includes photo and two finished videos (outdoor fun and weekend fun). Nine locations have
been identified. McTighe made a motion to approve the proposal for $7,850 with McDaniels Marketing.
The motion was seconded by Thompson. Motion passed.
The WCVB Director presented a grant application from MuleClub Post 131 for the American Legion
Junior State Tournament for $3,000. The conference will utilize 25-40 hotel rooms. Thompson made a
motion to approve the grant with MuleClub Post 131 for $3,000. The motion was seconded by McTighe.
Motion passed.
The WCVB Director provided the Director’s Report. The director discussed upcoming events; past
events; important dates for the Visitor Center; and projects the WCVB is currently working on.
The meeting adjourned at 9:31 a.m.
