COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AD HOC COMMITTEE IN THE MATTER OF COUNCILMEMBER JACK EVANS MARY M. CHEH, CHAIR NOTICE OF MEETING ON O’Melveny & Myers Report Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in Room 500 of the John A. Wilson Building 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20004 On Tuesday, November 19, Councilmember Mary M. Cheh, Chairperson of the Ad Hoc Committee in the Matter of Councilmember Jack Evans, will hold a meeting on the O’Melveny & Myers Report. The meeting will begin at 12:00 p.m., or immediately following the Meeting of the Committee of the Whole and Additional Legislative Meeting, if any, in Room 500 of the John A. Wilson Building, 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. The purpose of the meeting is for members to ask questions of the attorneys from O’Melveny & Myers about the content of their report, any attached documents, and the scope of the firm’s investigation. Members will also consider whether the Committee should undertake any additional investigation into this matter, including the specific matters to be investigated. The Committee anticipates that this meeting will be open to the public; however, although the chair does not expect to do so, due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the disciplinary and personnel matters to be discussed, the Committee may enter into Executive Session and close a portion of the meeting to the public pursuant to section 504(b) and section 375 of the Rules of Organization and Procedure for the Council of the District of Columbia, Council Period XXIII.
