This notice has been revised to correct the signup deadline. The purpose of this new hearing is (1) to hear from DCPS officials on the transition of its security contract; (2) to consider the April 1, 2021 recommendations of the Police Reform Commission on police in the schools and school security; (3) to hear from the public regarding police in the DCPS and charter schools, and school security, and (4) how DCPS and public charter school officials each plan to implement revised security plans for the upcoming school year.
