Jeff Dolezal discussed the purchase requisition to fix the compressor for the air conditioning unit at the Library. Dolezal stated that the Library
building has been experiencing issues with the air conditioning and after having it looked at it was determined that the unit is only working at
50% capacity. Dolezal obtained four quotes to replace the compressor. The lowest quote was from All-Pro Mechanical at a cost of $9,742, with
a possible additional cost of $1300-$1500 if refrigerant is needed. AccuTemp Mechanical provided a quote of $11,505. Dolezal recommended
utilizing AccuTemp for the repairs because they are the current contractor that performs the maintenance on the unit and they tested the Freon
in the unit and found it to have contaminants in it and All-Pro Mechanical did not perform the test on the Freon. Dolezal stated that he would
provide All-Pro Mechanical the opportunity to quote providing the maintenance contract next year. Peternell stated that from 2011-2014 the
Library’s rent payment was included in the capital budget for future Library capital purchases and therefore recommends utilizing capital funds
for the repair. Motion made by Schneider, seconded by Amborn to recommend Village Board approval of the purchase requisition to
AccuTemp in the amount of $11,505 and funds to come from the capital budget. Motion carried.
The committee reviewed the monthly budget to actual report.
Motion made by Schneider, seconded by Amborn to reopen minute approval as it was determined that they were incorrect. Motion carried.
