Village of Waterford Finance Committee Meeting Minutes July 11th, 2022 Held at Village Hall Chair Jaskie called the meeting to order at 5:03pm. Present: Don Houston, Adam Jaskie, Andrew Ewert Excused: Troy McReynolds, Brian Lauer Also present: Michelle Vandehey, Zeke Jackson, Colleen Schauer Minutes: Houston motioned to approve the 05.09.2022 minutes. Second by Ewert. All aye. Motion carried. New Business: 1. Financials: Discussion was had on Village financials. Motion by Ewert to adjourn at 5:38 pm. Second by Houston. All aye. Motion carried. It is possible that members of and possibly a quorum of members of other governmental bodies of the municipality may be in attendance at the above-stated meeting to gather information; no action will be taken by any governmental body at the above-stated meeting other than the governmental body specifically referred to above in this notice. Upon reasonable notice, a good faith effort will be made to accommodate the needs of disabled individuals through sign language interpreters or other auxiliary aid at no cost to the individual to participate in public meetings. Due to the difficulty in finding interpreters, requests should be made as far in advance as possible preferably a minimum of 48 hours. Second by Ewert. All aye. Motion 13 carried. 14 15 1. Borrowing: Discussion was had on short term borrowing. Motion by Ewert to recommend onto the 16 Village Board on Resolution 967-050922, Resolution Authorizing the Issuance and Establishing 17 Parameters for the Sale of Not to Exceed $4,900,000 General Obligation Refunding Bonds. Second 18 by Lauer. All aye. Motion carried. 19 Motion by Ewert to not recommend onto the Village Board on Resolution 968-050922, Authorizing 20 the Issuance and Establishing Parameters for the Sale of Not to Exceed $11,100,000 Taxable 21 General Obligation Refunding Bonds. Second by Houston. All aye. Motion carried. 22 23 2. Financials: Discussion on current Village Financials was tabled until the next meeting. 24 25 3. Budget: Motion by Lauer to recommend onto the Village Board Resolution 966-050922, Amending 26 the 2021 Budget. Second by Houston. All aye.
