Personnel Committee Meeting Minutes Monday, September 30, 2013, 6:00 p.m. Present: Jerry Filut-Chair, Tami Pollnow, Tom Roanhouse, Linda Laib and Glen Collins Also present: Rebecca Ewald Filut called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. Collins moved and Pollnow seconded to approve the minutes with the insertion of “that” between “position” and “would” in on pg. 2, last paragraph, fourth line, and the deletion of “is” located on pg. 2, last paragraph, fifth line. Motion carried. Pollnow moved and Laib seconded to adjourn into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(c) to review employment and compensation for the clerk position. Motion carried by roll call vote: Filut – aye Laib – aye Pollnow – aye Collins – aye Roanhouse – aye The meeting adjourned into closed session at 6:11 p.m. The Committee discussed the clerk position. Roanhouse moved Pollnow seconded to reconvene into open session at 6:24 p.m. Motion carried. Pollnow moved and Collins seconded to recommend the hiring of Carrie Orlovsky for the position of clerk at $42,500 with the requirement of becoming a certified municipal clerk within three years of hire.
